- Identification of state owned lands and protection

- Categorization & Reservation of identified lands as Reseves, distributable lands among landless individuals reserving for public utilization

- Surveying of above categorized lands and drafting by the department of survey and maintenance of a database.

- Organization of "Land Kachcheri" (a mobile programe where service is taken to the ground level from a office) and issuance of land permits, drafting long term lease deeds and leving.

- Issuance of grant papers to developed lands

- Commissioning the land reserved for public affairs to relevent bodies

- Technical consultancy for development of lands drafting and implementation of development programs.

- Naming the ownership and successor

- Arbitration in land disputes

- Establization of rural level land use plan models and implementation

- Conducting awareness rising programs of school students and general public on land use planning
